In a small village Olgara in West Bengal. An elephant broke lose and demolished a house and was returning to forest. Then he heard a baby crying. He came back to the spot, carefully removed the debris around the baby and coolly went back.

In Bangalore, DRDO housing colony, where people live cheek-by-jowl, this happened. Another one had to bite the dust. House wife was murdered by one 33 year old Vinod. He had worked as a volunteer for an NGO named "youth with a mission" ! He came with a mission to DRDO quarters couple of days back. Apparently the lady refused to give him money and he committed this cold blooded murder for material gains.

One may think this elephant is huge and dangerous. But compared to these so called social animals, he is much better, he is on the other side of the spectrum. He has immense weight but he does not throw it around unnecessarily. He has a long nose touching the ground, he has never been nosy. He has big ears to listen and he listens. He listens to one of these social animals who continuously tortures him. He uses his tiny eyes just to see what he wants to see, nothing more. He can trumpet much louder than anybody else, but he does not do it unnecessarily, He attacks others in defense only, never in a cold blooded way.
Now comes the social animal, who is topping on the chart by Darwin's evolution theory. More brainy, sophisticated, supposed to be well behaved. Ahem ! This animal can kill other fellow animals mercilessly with no provocation. It is more interested in what others possess than what it actually has. It can rape a five year old.It can loot others. It can do mass destruction. It can be a scumbag, cheat. It can be dangerous.
Yes, this social animal can learn a lesson or two by watching those much more decent friends - jumbos and other friends of multiple kinds in the forests. But for that it has to remove that veil and remove those animal instincts - completely ! If it has that towering view that it is the most authoritative in this world, then it has to climb down a few notches and smell the coffee. It has to preserve the forests for those cool ones !
